Grey Truffle visited the University of Galway as part of its on-ground content initiative with Onebounce, documenting the real experiences of international students across Ireland. Set along Ireland’s scenic west coast, the University of Galway is known for its deep academic heritage, research excellence, and welcoming community. Its riverside location, historic architecture, and vibrant student energy make it one of Ireland’s most culturally engaging campuses.

Grey Truffle’s creative and production teams explored the university’s open courtyards, modern research centres, and student spaces to capture life as it naturally unfolds. From science labs to arts corridors, and from quiet study halls to lively student cafés, every corner reflected the warmth and rhythm of Galway’s unique character. Conversations with Onebounce students revealed stories of adaptation and growth — how Galway’s friendly environment, cultural openness, and strong student support helped them feel at home from day one. These stories, filmed and documented on campus, will help Onebounce communicate with greater authenticity, showing what it truly means to live and study abroad.
